The Magical Blanket Fort Lantern

Build a classic living-room blanket fort together and block out the light. Use the UV flashlight to “supercharge” the pendant, then hang it from the fort roof or hold it like a tiny lantern while you tell stories inside.

Story spark: What secret world is hiding beyond the fort walls?

Secret Agent Treasure Hunt

Mom hides the uncharged pendant somewhere in a dark room. Rocco slowly sweeps the room with the UV flashlight. The instant the beam finds the pendant, it will flare into a bright glow and reveal the hidden treasure.

Agent upgrade: Time the mission or leave one simple clue.

Night Walk Explorer with Invisible Maps

Wear the glowing pendant as an explorer's badge for a nighttime backyard walk. Mom can draw a simple treasure map with UV glow paint or a yellow highlighter; in the dark, use the UV flashlight to reveal the secret path.

Map maker tip: Test the marker on scrap paper first.

Shadow Catching

If the pendant has a flat surface, place a thumb or small leaf over it and shine the UV light for a few seconds. Lift it away to reveal a dark “shadow print” against the bright glow. It should linger for a minute or two.

Try a fern, a coin, a paper star, or your fingertip.

The Magic Nightlight

Right before bedtime, give the pendant one final, mighty charge. Take the necklace off and set the pendant on the nightstand, where it can fade from a bright beacon into a soft glow as Rocco falls asleep.
